Step 1 – FREE first consultationUp to an hour briefing and question session to scope the issue, find out the required return on investment, resources available, results required and budget available. We then get back to you in writing with the brief of ideas we think could be implemented and the process needed to bring them to life. You decide what’s next.
Step 2 – Planning
Ok, so you have decided to move forward – We provide you a written quote outlining costs and time for a complete planning sessions with you, your colleagues and/or relevant staff.
This session is about gathering the complete information needed to write a tangible plan. We don’t make false promises and exaggerate effectiveness we need to fully understand your objectives and your budgets, sort through available customer data, understand your products and services, cost structures, supplier agreements, and sales and service capability.
Most importantly, we want to understand what you consider success will be so we can set some targets and establish the measurement criteria.
Our rate is $100 an hour plus reasonable agreed expenses + GST (remember we quote you up front). A planning session should be approximately 2 to 4 hours depending on the size and complexity of your business.
At the end of this session we will all have a clear understanding of the way forward, what campaigns could be undertaken and in what time frames along with the types of resources and suppliers required.
This is another decision point for you.
Step 3 – Documented Plans
Again, you have a quote up front. Strategic Marketing Plans are documents that give you instructions on what needs to happen, who to speak to, what to ask for, what their approximate costs are and what returns you can expect. The plan is yours, you get all our experience in a DIY format you can implement over and over on your own.
The cost for this stage is dependent on things like the number of activities you can undertake, the number of potential customers to be contacted, complexity of your offering and the geographic locations targeted. As a starting point, a well constructed campaign plan will be around $550 (get included) for small businesses.

Step 4 – Implementation
Implementing a plan could be digging into your customer billing records and developing a data base to drive ongoing activity. A plan could also be getting yourself or staff out on the streets doing sampling or undertaking customer research in the areas you want to improve. Campaigns may need briefs for advertising agencies, web developers, mail houses, printers or media outlets. If you have multiple retail outlets and offices it may require travel and briefing sessions and the construction of co-marketing agreements all of which we will undertake with you.
Again all work will be quoted up front so you are in control. We understand trust is something earned not demanded so being open and transparent is our priority.
